The Al-Qadisiyah Journal of Veterinary Medicine Sciences (QJVMS) recognizes that artificial intelligence (AI) technologies may assist authors during manuscript preparation when used responsibly and transparently. AI-based tools may be employed only to improve language quality, grammar, spelling, readability, or reference organization. Authors must carefully review and verify all AI-assisted output before submission.
AI technologies must not be used to generate scientific findings, fabricate or manipulate data, create false references, interpret research results without human evaluation, or replace the authors' independent scientific judgment. All research content, analyses, conclusions, and interpretations must remain the original intellectual work of the authors.
AI systems cannot satisfy the requirements for authorship and therefore must not be listed as authors or co-authors. Responsibility for the accuracy, originality, ethical compliance, and integrity of the submitted manuscript rests entirely with the human authors.
If AI tools have been used during manuscript preparation, the corresponding author must disclose this use in a brief statement placed in the Declarations section before the References. The statement should identify the AI tool used and describe its purpose. Failure to disclose significant AI assistance may result in editorial action, including rejection of the manuscript or post-publication correction if necessary.
