Plagiarism policy

The authors submitting to the Al-Qadisiyah Journal of Veterinary Medicine Sciences must ensure that their manuscripts are original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration elsewhere; violations will result in immediate rejection. All forms of plagiarism, including copying, improper paraphrasing, or misappropriation of data, ideas, or results, are strictly prohibited and considered unethical. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software Turnitin prior to peer review. Manuscripts with a similarity index of less than 20% may proceed to further editorial evaluation and peer review, while those exceeding this threshold may be rejected or returned for revision. This policy upholds research integrity and aligns with international publication ethics standards.
